It's been a bumper week of announcements from the fashion world this week. Tommy Jeans has delved into the archives of Warner Bros., CBS and Viacom to come up with a collection featuring 90s and 00s cult figures and logos. Shows such as Ren & Stimpy, Beavis & Butthead and Garfield are splashed onto tees and sweatshirts to curate a playful retro lineup. As Wimbledon 2021 is in -ahem - full swing, Ralph Lauren has somewhat confusingly styled Premier League football Son Heung-min in classic courtside attire. The Tottenham Hotspur star certainly looks dapper in the fetching pinstripe suit.
Sticking with a sports theme, eyewear specialist Gentle Monster has announced its second collaboration with climbing brand Ambush. The edgy sunglasses have climber's carabiners built into the arms. Elsewhere, Christian Louboutin has shown off its FW21 footwear, which is packed with its trademark creativity.
Lacoste’s AW21 collection has headed in an unexpected direction, with the signature crocodile logo going super-sized on equally oversized jackets, sweatshirts and more. And Oakley’s Prizm sunglasses, that will feature on Olympians at the upcoming Tokyo games, includes a little 'beak' in their design.
