Levi's 501s - the iconic jeans - are 148 years old on May 20. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the legendary US brand, that was responsible for setting the blueprint for blue denim, has roped in a number of celebrities and sports stars to show off the timelessness of its fashion.
Across the decades, the likes of Marlon Brando, Marilyn Monroe and Bruce Springsteen were the ones dressed in 501s and making them look effortlessly cool.
And in 2021 the straight-legged jeans still look great.
Levi's has assembled a new team of Originals to carry the 501s into the future. Tennis ace Naomi Osaka is joined by model Hailey Bieber, actor Jaden Smith, Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford MBE and more. It's certainly a look that isn't going out of fashion any time soon.
