Bringing the star power.
Grammy-nominated R&B star Khalid has been announced as a new Reebok ambassador. The 2020 partnership melds the old with the new as the Classics brand is paired with a modern day star.
It's all part of the "Sport the Unexpected" global campaign and aims to inspire creativity and promote self expression. What this means for us is that fresh new sets of sneakers and clothing are about to drop and give us even more street smart gear to choose from.
Having topped the charts with his albums Free Spirit and American Teen, Khalid's stock has never been higher, which makes Reebok's decision to work with him a no-brainer. And it seems the feeling is mutual.
“I’m amped to partner with Reebok,” said Khalid. “I love how they mix old and new and honor the classics with fresh twists. I hope we can inspire a new generation of people to be themselves and take creative chances.”
Matt Blonder, VP of Marketing and Digital Brand Commerce at Reebok said “Through his unique sound and a personal journey that took him across the country, Khalid authentically symbolizes our common ethos – to inspire creativity and encourage experimentation. We’re privileged to welcome him to our family.”
The new collection will arrive in stores and online in spring 2020.
