Find some face time with a Hungarian deep clean
Whatever happened to Hungarian football? Led by the legendary Ferenc Puskas, the Magnificent Magyars were once a dominant force and finished runners-up in the 1954 World Cup.
But since then Hungary has barely made an impact on the beautiful game.
Perhaps the Hungarian government back in the 1950s suddenly decided to divert all funding from football into dermatology. That might explain the market-leading presence of Hungarian skincare range Omorovicza (don’t even try and pronounce it) that is made by dermatologists at a Nobel Prize-winning lab in Budapest.
Made with Hungarian thermal water, these products are employed in the deep cleaning men’s facial at the Waldorf Astoria on the Palm, a wonderful spa that looks like a high-security laboratory doing groundbreaking work on genetics in a futuristic sci-fi film. Cleansing milk, exfoliating scrub and the anti-ageing Hydralifting Mask from the Omorovicza range left EDGAR’s skin feeling plumped and refreshed.
If the demise of Hungarian football is the price we have to pay for skin that feels this good, well, so be it.
