Loewe changes the fashion landscape with a performance range for the stylish explorer
Baggy cargo trousers, puffy jackets and scratchy nylon t-shirts mean that ‘outdoor clothing’ is not a phrase that sets the sartorial heart racing. But all that could change with Loewe’s new range of menswear and kit designed for outdoor pursuits.
The permanent capsule of clothing and accessories from Loewe (pronounced 'lo-ay-vay’) features anoraks made from technical materials and jumpers knitted from partly recycled cotton fibre.
British actor Josh O’Connor – to be seen next as Prince Charles in series three of The Crown on Netflix – models the range by Loewe’s chief designer Jonathan Anderson while trekking the rugged terrain of Cap de Creus in eastern Spain.
Made using a host of vibrant colours the Eye/Loewe/Nature range isn’t great for camouflage, but with gear that looks this good, why would you want to hide it?
