Lamborghini racing series returns to UAE in 2022

Words by Nathan Irvine

Race ready

After a Covid-19 inspired hiatus, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series will return to the Middle East in January 2022. A regular fixture on the global motorsport calendar, the ten-day event will race around Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi between January 20-29.

The racing series is reserved for the Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo Evo vehicles (pictured) and the championship-winning teams and drivers from each of the four classes (Pro, Pro-Am, Am and Lamborghini Cup) will receive entry to the World Finals free of charge.

Each race will start with a 60 minute practice and a 20 minute qualifying session before the real racing begins. There's no confirmation on whether fans will be allowed in to watch the Lamborghini Super Trofeo series take place, but we seriously hope we get a chance to see these mechanical beasts in action again.
