The Luther star is about to get digital.
Fresh from his villainous role in summer blockbuster Hobbs & Shaw, Idris Elba is set to return to our screens again in September. But it's not in a role you might expect.
You see, the Luther actor's next gig is in NBA 2K20. A basketball game. Seriously.
Elba will play a coach in the game's story that is intertwined with the career mode. And he's not the only star to lend his image and voice to NBA 2K20 either. Take a look at the trailer and find out who else has been digitised.
Rosario Dawson (Sin City), Ernie Hudson (Ghostbusters), Thomas Middleditch (Godzilla: King of the Monsters) and NBA living legend LeBron James are all in too.
This isn't the first time NBA 2K has roped in celebrities, by the way. Michael B. Jordan (Creed) played a character in-game and award winning director Spike Lee (BlacKkKlansman) produced a story for the long running series, too.
NBA 2K20 is out on September 6 on PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
