Endurance athletes on red alert for the sports chronograph
If the thought of swimming 3.9km, cycling 180km and running 42km consecutively might seem a touch ambitious, how about simply wearing a watch that commemorates this epic athletic feat?
As part of a new long-term partnership, Breitling have put blood, sweat and tears into their new Endurance Pro Ironman chronograph that they’re calling the “ultimate athleisure watch.”
Lightweight and robust, the red and black 44mm watch is a sporty chronograph while the smarter black and gold version is only available through Ironman channels for race finishers.
Both pieces are based on Breitling’s 1970s watch named the Sprint, which is something you probably shouldn’t incorporate into your race tactics if attempting an Ironman. As the old saying goes: slow and steady wins the race.
