Inspired for sound.
Bang & Olufsen has switched things up slightly. The premium audio tech brand has designed a speaker that's interior-friendly first and stellar sound quality second. Its Beosound Balance is a prime example of the company's unique approach to stylish gadgets and really looks like a work of art.
The speaker was made possible with the help of Benjamin Hubert from British industrial design studio Layer. There's a focus on dulling the in-your-face aesthetic of most tech found in the home, and instead fits seamlessly into various living spaces.
B&O is one of the only brands out there that you can trust to blend style and tech seamlessly without compromising on the other. So along with the solid oak wood base and intricate weave of the soft material on top, the Beosound Balance sounds as good as it looks.
It's also kitted out with functionality that supports Google Chromecast, Apple Airplay2 and Spotify Connect. It also has a built-in voice assistant that can link up with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
It's all part of the approach that Bang & Olufsen has become synonymous with, as VP of Design at Bang & Olufsen Gavin Ivester told us recently. And long may it continue.
Beosound Balance is available in stores and online from March 9, 2020 for AED 8,895.
